Who We Are

The Jewellery Collective steering group use a co-production approach, which means working together as equals and making the best use of our strengths to find ways of doing things that benefit everyone. This is about recognising and using everyone's diverse knowledge, experience, and perspective. This ensures that the project is community-led and that the needs of the community are met.

Kassandra Lauren Gordon, Founder

A London-based award-winning multidisciplinary artist and jeweller. A broadly passionate person who through a journey of self-discovery found inspiration to channel her experience, voice and community into her craft.

  • Rebecca Maddock

    Founder &Worn Studio

    An award-winning jewellery designer, maker and content marketer in the jewellery industry for over ten years, Rebecca has developed a vast knowledge of jewellery design & production, as well as photography, content creation, marketing & e-commerce. &Worn Studio offers small business creative consulting based on this wealth of experience. It is incredibly important to Rebecca to share her extensive skills and insights with others in the industry, helping small businesses grow and championing sustainability with Fair Luxury.

  • Nadia Abbas

    Co-founder & Jewellery Technologist for Stööki.

    With a degree in Jewellery, Silversmithing & Related Arts, Nadia has refined her craft by designing and making handcrafted pieces for the brand.

    Also, by teaching jewellery production processes to members of the public during Stööki’s regular jewellery making workshops, the brands long term goal of being an accessible entry point into the jewellery industry is coming into fruition.

    Specialist in responsibly mined and fully traceable coloured gemstones of Nineteen48 and Crown Gems and a co-founder of Fair Luxury.

    Stuart works very closely with mine owners to provide a mine-to-market service. The emphasis throughout the supply chain is on maximum transparency and fair rewards for everyone involved, trying to improve conditions and benefits for those at all stages of the supply chain.

    Georgina is a London based jewellery designer and owner of the sustainable jewellery brand, Georgina Yvonne. Georgina focuses on creating organic jewellery and engagement rings, with the finest and most intricate detail. Georgina's aim in joining The Jewellery Collective is to help bring the industry together - it can be a tricky industry to break into, and it's an industry where business relationships, mentoring and networking is fundamental to jewellers at all points of their career.

    JGAA is the first jewellery and gemstone association for the Continent that has economic empowerment through the industry, at its core. JGAA attained Observer Membership status from the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO), a status that allows JGAA’s membership to meet with the global industry as partners. Longo is the founder of Gem, a comic strip based on a fictional teenager who takes us on a jewellery and gemstone journey in her small mining town.
